World's Wealthiest Model
Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen is the highest-earning model in the world, according to a list compiled by Forbes.com.
The model has topped the list for the third year running after making $25 million from June 2008 to June 2009, reports contactmusic.com.
Despite raking in a fortune, Bundchen, who married American football star Tom Brady in February, has been hit by the global economic crisis, making $10 million less than in the previous financial year.
But the 28-year-old catwalk queen still has lucrative campaigns with Versace, Dior, True Religion jeans and Ebel watches. She also has her own successful shoe line.
German supermodel Heidi Klum finished in second place with $16 million, earning $2 million more than the previous financial year while British beauty Kate Moss finished at third place with $8.5 million, earning a million dollars more than the previous year.

The major talking point about the Coen Brothers" new film
A Serious Man seems to be that it has "no stars," or is comprised of a cast of mostly unknowns. The leader of this unknown ensemble is Michael Stuhlbarg, who plays Larry Gopnik, a tenure-track professor and Jewish father living in 1967 Minnesota. Life doesn"t seem too bad for Larry until a nearly unending list of terrible things befalls him, including a pending divorce, a car accident, a gambling brother, ungrateful children, a mysterious letter-writer, a bribery attempt, a lusty neighbor (on one side) and a threatening neighbor (on the other), plus a doctor"s appointment and a bar mitzvah under the influence of pot. Larry seeks the help of three rabbis to help sort his life, and finds that their cryptic advice doesn"t provide any easy answers. Really, the only thing you can do is laugh. It"s up to Stuhlbarg to shoulder all this calamity and turn it into black humor, and he pulls it off.
Before landing this rare leading role, Stuhlbarg appeared in small roles in several films, including A Price Above Rubies (1998), The Grey Zone (2001), Martin Scorsese"s short film The Key to Reserva (2007), Afterschool (2008), Ridley Scott"s
Body of Lies (2008) and Cold Souls (2009). On television, he has appeared on Ugly Betty and Law & Order. But his formative time has been spent on the stage, having earned a Tony nomination for The Pillowman, plus a few Shakespearian turns in Richard II and Hamlet. The very kind and pleasant Mr. Stuhlbarg sat down for a brief talk with me about his new film.

Jennifer Aniston cries thinking about Brad Pitt
It seems Jennifer Aniston still has feelings for ex-hubby Brad Pitt as she burst into tears in her trailer while filming in New York, telling an assistant that a scene "reminded her of him," a source said.
The former Friends star, who was shooting for The Bounty with Gerard Butler, was reportedly spotted in tears.
According to a source, an assistant saw Aniston in tears inside the trailer when he went to call her, reports the New York Post.
The source said Aniston told the assistant: "I need a moment. This scene reminds me of Brad and me".
Aniston had gathered her calm when she came out from her trailer. "While she enjoyed flirting with Gerard on set and put a brave face on every day, privately she is still very fragile," added the source.
However, Aniston"s rep has rubbished the story and said it is "ridiculous . . it never happened." Pitt and Aniston had separated in January 2005.

will speak on Monday (August 24) at the
National Press Club luncheon in Washington DC.
Nick will discuss his personal experiences living with and managing his juvenile diabetes and his efforts to inspire other youth dealing with diabetes to manage their disease.

Jourdan Dunn - Mom to Be
Vogue.com broke the news on their site with an article filled with suggestions on what the 19 year old supermodel in the making should wear in the coming months. Dunn is reportedly due to have a son in December which means that we probably won"t see much of her during Fashion Week this fall.
Reaction to Dunn"s pregnancy seemed overly judgmental on message boards this morning with some people expressing "disappointment" that the teenager (who is also a legal adult with a steady income) is pregnant.
For the record, lots of models start families very young. I hope that after the birth of her son Jourdan"s career will continue to flourish, like supermodel Natalia Vodianova, who also gave birth to a child at age 19 with much less finger wagging.

Dirty Projectors' Second Attempt
Dave Longstreth, frontman of the Dirty Projectors seems shaken. The venue in front of him is filled to the brink, and the multi-coloured lights are surely blinding as he walks out onto stage of Lee"s Palace and crawls behind the safety of a guitar.
He doesn"t aim to shock us with a blistering crash of cymbals upon opening the show. Instead, he begins with a vocal duet with Angel Deradoorian while somewhat sloppily picking away at his chord changes. Smiles begin to permeate through the crowd and it becomes evident that they"re on his side.

Padma Lakshmi and her Freakish Array of Talents
As we all know, some things in life just aren"t fair. Take for example the freakishly beautiful and talented Padma Lakshmi.
